Don (38) is a dedicated husband, father of two, and local truck driver, still working full time, who has been battling renal failure for 3 years. Despite this, he has continued working full-time, with his wife Melissa administering daily home dialysis for 3.5 hours, 4 days a week while also working full time.

In June 2025, our lives were turned upside down when a routine dialysis catheter replacement caused a severe infection that spread to his heart. Don had to undergo emergency open-heart surgery to save his life.

These past few years have been a relentless, exhausting battle for our family. Don is a fighter, but he urgently needs a kidney to regain his health and be there for his wife and children, Kayla and Kayden.
